To many time I find myself wanting things that I know I can’t afford or shouldn’t buy. It’s the American way right? No, in fact it shouldn’t be. Our society is driven by this capitalist machine that keeps us consumers always want more, wanting the next best thing. Sometimes I wonder why? The majority of the things we spend money on are not a necessity, but we have to have it. My biggest spending flaws are shoes, electronics, and the notorious fast food. The fast food is what gets me the most, even though I know the food I cook would be much better I still do whats convenient for me even though it’s usually nasty and to expensive. Only if we weren’t born into this microwave age of wanting everything RIGHT NOW !!! My parent always tought me to save for what I want; now a days all that saving and waiting will get you the old model and that’s a shame because that’s how most of us think. Why? Why, do we need these things to fulfill our lives?
